  • Wraparound Care

We are delighted to be able provide an extended provision in the form of a breakfast club and an afterschool club for the use of Ashbury with Compton Beauchamp CE Primary School children (Reception age upwards).

    Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club will be open from 07:30-08:30 at a cost of £5.50 per child.

The latest drop off time for Breakfast Club will be 08:00 in order to allow time for your child to have something to eat.  If you drop after 08:00 there may be a delay in welcoming your child and they may not receive breakfast.

Children will be offered a range of activities including games, drawing and quiet reading activities.

    The Craven Club (Afterschool Club)

After-school club will run from 15:00 – 18:00. There will be two charges for The Craven Club, depending on pick-up time; £11.00 per child for staying until 17:00 and £13.00 for staying for the full session (18:00).

If you need to, you will be able to pick your child up earlier than the end of the session, but you will still be charged for the full booked session.

If you are late to collect your child you may incur a £5.00 penalty fee as our extended provision staff are contractually obliged to work until 18:00.

A snack will be provided at around 16:00 each day, which would typically consist of fruit, toast/crackers/bagels or biscuits and a drink.

Children will be offered a range of activities including board games, computer games, sports activities, art and crafts, cookery and opportunities to watch TV and relax.

Our extended provision will run during term time (excluding INSET Days, essential training events and other school closures) and will provide places for up to 18 children.

Children attending the clubs will be supervised by trained members of staff at all times.

    Pick up and drop off

On arrival to Breakfast Club, parents are expected to bring their child to the school via the Ridgeway wooden gate and ring the doorbell on the white doors until a member of the team collects them. They will need to be collected from The Craven Club the same point, ringing the doorbell to show you’re there.

    Bookings

All payments must be made seven days in advance of the session via the parent app. Once a booking is made, there will be no cancellation refunds. This includes if a child has time off for sickness, in-term holidays, other clubs etc. This ensures our provision is sustainable in the long term.

We understand that plans change and you may require an emergency booking. In this instance, bookings may include a £5 administration fee and a place is never guaranteed. To book an emergency space contact the school office.

    Contract

Prior to your child attending their first session, parents/carers are required to complete the Extended Provision Parent/Carer Contract form. Once complete, this form will need to be sent to the school office - office@ash.cambrianlt.org.

For further information, please see our Extended Provision Policy.

My daughter is absolutely loving her time at Craven Club and, despite being one of the last to leave whenever she is there, she doesn’t have an issue with that at all. It definitely helps me feel less guilty about picking up at 5! Kate and Sophie are really lovely. We love that she comes home with food she has made as well! Bringing home different recipes to try that we know she likes and would get involved with is fantastic.
