Welcome
Welcome to Ashbury Primary
School, a place where we are united in a love for learning.
I am delighted to be the Headteacher of this nurturing, ambitious small village school, after joining in September 2024. It is a privilege to see our children grow and succeed to the full potential, with both the challenge and support they need.
I have a passion for creating a love of reading, high behaviour expectations and using sport, music and art to enrich children’s love of learning and personal development as well as their mental health, well-being and spirituality.
As a Church of England Primary School, everything we do is guided through our vision: united in a love for learning we believe we will all grow and succeed together. Our core Christian Values of Compassion, Perseverance and Responsibility help us to be the best version of ourselves. We recognise that each child is an individual and celebrate all that our pupils achieve; The whole school community embraces mutual respect and cares for one another. We are committed to instilling in our children a lifelong love of learning that will equip them to succeed in an ever changing modern world.
Working in collaboration and partnership with our parents and local community is important to us and the key to our success. The children are fully supported in their learning journey by dedicated staff, trust, governors, parents and clergy; creating an environment where every child feels loved, happy, safe and able to achieve their very best.
I would love to share the experiences we offer. You are more than welcome to visit us to find out what a special school Ashbury CE Primary School truly is by contacting our school office.
