"We Care"

Whole School Trip to Steam June 2017

On Monday 26th June the whole of Ashbury Primary school visited the Steam Museum in Swindon. We all got to see things like old steam trains, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, parts of factories where trains were made and how a simple pig farming community was made in Swindon. First we looked at the factories, workshops and some engines. Next we looked at a large green train and completed worksheets. After lunch we watched a talk about how Mr Brunel made the Great Western Railway as well as building hospitals and swimming pools. Over all it was a great trip and I wish I could go again!
